Volunteering
With the help of many supporters and volunteers
the Pocket Park management committee is working
to raise funds to not only cover day-to-day
maintenance but also to make improvements to
Park.

in the play area over the summer months. Have

Report What You See - Join Park Watch
Sadly there are, and always will be, a few visitors to the Park bent on being destructive and anti-social.
If you see such behaviour - or the consequences of it - please let us know so we can deal with the situation as soon as possible. We have a good relationship with our local Police who have made the Pocket Park a Locally Identified Priority and have been swift to react when called to the area. Park watch is a group of people who use the Park fairly regularly and report anything unusual to Paul Mabbutt - or in emergency directly with Police. Communicating information in this way has proved invaluable and fruitful.: a planned all night "camp out" was nipped in the bud and groups of youngsters drinking alcohol and being noisy have been dispersed thanks to calls from Park Watch members. Boughton Pocket Park is a registered charity. You can help us fundraise in a number of ways:
- Support our events
- Why not set up a standing order? It costs £2,000 alone a year to cover the costs of mowing and insuring the Pocket Park. Just £5 from every household in Boughton would cover these costs.
- Do you shopping through www.easyfundraising.org.uk and select Boughton Pocket Park as your charity. The retailers give the Pocket Park a proportion of what you spend.
